Ph.D. Candidate in International Studies, Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs, University of Denver

I am a scholar of social movements, gender, democracy, and comparative politics. I also have experience working on conflict, violence, feminist mobilization, and state-society relations. My primary geographical focus is in Latin America and South Asia. My dissertation project is a comparative study of social movements in India and Mexico and how they advance social and political change even when they fail to meet their official goals.
